A space to explore and create

My children’s workshops are designed to feel playful, encouraging, and confidence-building. Every child is supported at their own pace, with plenty of freedom to explore colour, shape and self-expression.

Each session gently guides children through creative techniques while leaving lots of room for imagination and individuality.

Creative, supportive and full of fun

Workshops are designed to nurture confidence as well as creativity. Children are encouraged to experiment, take creative risks, and enjoy the process — not just focus on the finished piece.

Private sessions are available for birthday parties, home-education groups, community groups, and special events.

Hi, I’m Hannah

I’m Devon GP turned painter, capturing the beauty and sparkle in the world and hoping to bring some joy to yours.

The the utter joy of being lost in a painting is hard to put into words – it’s a form of expression that can touch emotions and warm the soul in a different way than the spoken word.  Like a tune or a familiar smell, a picture can carry us away to a memory, a feeling, or an emotion. 

I’m passionate about helping children discover the joy of creativity and the confidence that comes from making something entirely their own.

Practical Details

Where: 

At Studio H in my gorgeous garden studio in Heavitree, Exeter – address shared via email.

What’s included:

  • All materials provided
  • Best to wear old clothes that may pick up some arty marks.
  • Max class size is 8
  • A fun, friendly, and supportive workshop where we create new art each week and explore all mediums.

Term time classes:

✦ Studio H Sunday Club: a 1.5hr art-making session from 2.30-4pm or 4.30-6pm alternate Sundays on the following dates – 26th April, 10th May, &th and 21st June, 5th and 19th July – at the garden studio.  £16 per session booked in termly blocks.

✦ Studio H Weekday Art  Club – Every Thursday from 5.15-6.15 or 6.30-7.30pm –  £10 a session booked in half term blocks. Summer starts on April 23rd.
