Feeling Blooming Marvellous

“Feeling Blooming Marvellous” is the feeling I get when I wonder around a garden filled with flowers.  How about you?  These beauties were picked with my daughter one glorious, sun-drenched evening this summer, in a flower meadow.   The only sounds were the crickets in the grass and the bees, busily collecting the pollen from flower to flower.  And I took them home and cycled them to my gallery the next day, where I painted them alongside other artists in an open-painting session.  I felt so much warmth and energy from both the meadow, the lady who let me wonder around her meadow, the flowers themselves and the gorgeous people I painted with, meant that painting them was simply Blooming Marvellous!

The canvas is 60 x 97cm, painted with acrylics and is ready to hang.
