Jardins de Tuileries

During a recent trip to Paris, I noticed a young lady reclining on the famous green garden chairs of the Jardin de Tuileries and reading her book in the middle of the day and wandered if this was her lunch break or if she too were on holiday?  Either way, her lounging, with intense focus on her book, reminded me how lovely it is to stop and lose yourself in something that escapes you for a while.

It is acrylic on board and measures 40 x 40cm.  It can be framed for a small extra cost.
