Park Cafe Afternoon Tea

I’m a great believer in simple pleasures and in my opinion, not much beats a catch up over tea and cake with a friend.

Now a friend lent me a Mary Fedden book and I was so impressed by her work, that I felt compelled to design a scene from our local park cafe, which nodded towards her fabulous cubist style. The cafe has the best iron, turquoise, industrial-style chairs and the cutest milk jugs. And to top it off I’ve added my favourite cake – the beautiful Victoria sponge – yum!! xxx
