Penguin in the Sunshine

Penguin is one of my favourite ornaments and he was enjoying the summer sun last year so much, it felt rude not to paint him with my gorgeous bunch of flowers I was given for taking part in Devon Open Studios, and my camping teapot.  This sunshine-filled painting is all about the warmth and happiness that the summer can bring, about getting into the garden and summer fruits and fun.

It is acrylic on canvas and is 50 x 50 cm.
